Rabia Shahzad bags gold in Hampshire Weightlifting Championship

Pakistan’s female weightlifter Rabia Shahzad grabbed gold medal at the Hampshire weight lifting championship in 49-kilogrammes category.
The 21-year-old competed in the event – featuring nine weightlifters around the World where she lifted 40kg in snatch and 52kg in clean and jerk to capture the top spot.
A day earlier, Rabia claimed the silver medal in the 49-kilogram female category in the Welsh Open Weightlifting Championships.
Rabia took to Twitter to share her victory, she wrote, “Gold clinched in Hampshire Weightlifting Championship 2019 Alhumdulillah”
