PIA aircraft with over 90 passengers on board crashes near Karachi aircraft

KARACHI: A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) aircraft with more than 90 passengers on board has crashed near Jinnah International Airport, ARY News reported.

Sources said the national flag carrier’s flight A-320 that was flying from Lahore to Karachi crashed in a residential area. The plane crashed minutes before landing at the Karachi airport.

Television footage shows plumes of smokes rising from the crash site as ambulances and rescue officials have arrived at the scene.
