Wasim Akram picks Naseem Shah as his dream pair among current pacers
Karachi: Former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram has picked the 17-year-old Naseem Shah as his dream bowling pair among the current pacers.
Swing of Sultan also named Fazal Mahmood and Sarfaraz Nawaz as his dream bowling pair from the past.
“I’ve paired with Imran Khan, Waqar Younis, Shoaib Akhtar, Abdul Razzaq, and all others but if I had to choose someone from the past it would be “Reverse swing” inventor Sarfaraz Nawaz and hero of “The oval” Fazal Mahmood,” Wasim said in a video released by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

“If I have to pick among current bowling stars, it will be a right-hander and it got to be Naseem Shah. He is young, fast, bowls at 150+, and has the ability to bowl much faster,” he added.

On the other hand, the 20-year-old Shaheen Shah Afridi chose Wasim as his dream bowling partner.
