AUSvWI T20I series postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic
Melbourne: Cricket Australia (CA) has postponed their home T20I series against West Indies following the current situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
West Indies were scheduled to play three T20Is on October 4, 6 and 9 at Townsville, Cairns and the Gold Coast, respectively.
It must be noted here that this T20I series became the latest international event to get called of due to COVID-19. Earlier, T20 World Cup, Asia Cup and many bilateral series got postponed.
In July, West Indies vs England was the first International series after almost four months. England won the series 2-1. Pakistan is lined up to play three Tests against England from August 5.
