Saqlain Mushtaq violates PCB’s code of ethics

Lahore: Head of International Player Development Saqlain Mushtaq has violated the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) code of ethics.

The former cricketer is busy running his YouTube channel despite being stopped by the board. He uploaded a program on English fast bowler James Anderson’s 600 wickets. Last week, Saqlain also uploaded a video regarding former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

“He shared the video on the YouTube channel after taking permission. He informed at the time of signing the agreement that he runs a YouTube channel,” PCB spokesperson.

“He has been allowed to upload positive content apart from Pakistan cricket,” he added.

It must be noted that PCB banned all coaches from running their YouTube channels. According to the board code of ethics, no board official or player can fulfill dual responsibilities.
