Pakistan becomes second country to resume men’s cricket post COVID-19

Rawalpindi: Pakistan has become the second Test-playing country after England to resume men’s international cricket.

Pakistan is the also first country outside of Australia and Europe to resume international cricket post COVID-19 pandemic.

The national men’s team is hosting Zimbabwe for three ODIs and as many T20Is from today at Pindi cricket satdium.

Pakistan last hosted international cricket in February. The last international match on Pakistan soil was a Test match against Bangladesh.

England successfully hosted their international summer as they hosted West Indies, Pakistan and Australia. Their women’s team also played against West Indies.

On the other hand, Australia also hosted New Zealand women’s team for white-ball matches
