Yasir Shah stars as Balochistan down KP by 186 runs
Karachi: Balochistan’s skipper Yasir Shah spun Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at UBL Sports Complex to give his side a comfortable win by 186 runs in Quaid-e-Azam Trophy round 1 match.
Leg-spinner picked eight wickets in the match (4 in each innings). Left-arm orthodox spinner Kashif Bhatti took four in the second innings.

KP needed 280 runs on the fourth and final day of the match while chasing a target of 413. KP resumed the fourth day’s proceedings on the score of 133-4. Yasir dismissed Adil Amin (67) and Khalid Usman (8) in quick succession.
Rehan Afridi tried to keep KP back in the match by playing aggressively, however, he departed courtesy of a brilliant run-out by Abdul Rehman. He departed after scoring 44. Balochistan then soon wrapped up the innings, dismissing KP on 226.
Yesterday, Balochistan declared their inning at 217-8 after taking a 229-runs lead over KP in the first innings. Sami Aslam scored 48 runs while Taimoor Ali and Yasir Shah notched 41 runs each.
Pacer Khurram Shehzad fifer helped Balochistan to restrict KP on 167 runs. Bismillah Khan registered his third first-class century while Kashif made 98 in Balochistan’s first innings.
