Rizwan aims to score hundred in upcoming Tests against New Zealand
Karachi: Newly-appointed vice-captain of Pakistan Test team, Mohammad Rizwan has set his goal on achieving a three-figure mark in the upcoming Test series against New Zealand.
The national side is scheduled to play three T20Is and two Tests against the Kiwis. The 28-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman is confident to continue his current form.
“I haven’t scored in three-figures yet in Test cricket and this is something I’m aiming to achieve,” Rizwan said to a local news channel before flying to New Zealand.

“My aim is to give my best and perform with my bat and gloves for my team in the upcoming series,” he added.
It must be noted that wicket-keeper batsman Rizwan was awarded man of the series against England in August. He managed to score 161 runs with two fifties and was hailed as best keeper to have played in England for a long time.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s 54-member contingent arrived in Christchurch yesterday where they will undergo a 14-day isolation period. The team is divided into four groups and each group has resided in different blocks. They are not allowed to meet each other and will also train separately.
