Babar Azam likely to play second New Zealand Test
Christchurch: Pakistan skipper Babar Azam is likely to take part in the second New Zealand Test as the final decision about his participation will be made on January 2, ARY News reported.
The 26-year-old ruled out from three T20Is and the first Test against New Zealand after he suffered the injury during a throw-down session.
According to sources, the star batsman has started training and has been batting in the nets for the last three days.

Meanwhile, there is a significant improvement in Babar’s injury and the doctors are constantly monitoring the situation.
In case Babar Azam plays, Haris Sohail will be dropped from the final Test, scheduled to start from January 3.
Note, Mohammad Rizwan lead Pakistan in the first Test at Mount Maunganui which the host won by 101 runs.
