Hafeez reacts on exclusion from South Africa T20Is
Karachi: Veteran Mohammad Hafeez has reacted after he was not named in the squad for the three-match T20I series against South Africa.
The 40-year-old Hafeez, who was the leading run-scorer for the Men in Green in 2020 in the shorter format, took to Twitter and wrote “Indeed Allah is with the patient”.

According to the chief selector Mohammad Wasim, Hafeez is not available to join the bio-secure bubble on February 3, therefore, he is unavailable for the selection.
“Hafeez was asked regarding his availability but he denied his availability before February 3. We can’t select him due to protocols of bio-secure bubble,” Wasim said in a presser after announcing the squad.
Note, Hafeez is currently taking part in a cricket league in Dubai which will conclude on February 6.
