‘We have thought of making changes in playing XI for second Test’ Rizwan
Christchurch: Pakistan stand-in Test captain Mohammad Rizwan has confirmed that the team management has planned to make changes in the final XI for the second New Zealand Test.
The wicketkeeper-batsman is confident of making a strong comeback in the final match of the tour just like they did in the T20I series.
“We have thought of making changes for the second Test. We will sit down with the team management and decide, but there are going to be some changes,” Rizwan said.
“The last fixture of any tour is very important. The series is still on and the lads are confident of leveling the series by winning the second Test,” he added.

Pakistan regular captain Babar Azam will miss the second Test as he is yet to recover from a thumb injury. Rizwan said that the star batsman will recover ahead of the all-important series against South Africa back home.
“Babar is very strong mentally and wants to make comeback when he is 100 percent fit. He needs some more to get fit to stay available for the South Africa series,” he maintained.
The 28-year-concluded by revealing that they will bowl first if toss goes in their favor as the conditions at Hagley Oval suits pacers.
