LIVE: Pakistan lose two early wickets, score 42-2 at Tea

RAWALPINDI: Azhar Ali (22*) Babar Azam (5*) are leading the charge for Pakistan as they scored 42-2 at Tea with lead of 113 runs.

Imran Butt departed for naught as Pakistan resumed their second inning with a lead of 71 runs on Day 3 of the second Test.

Abid Ali and Azhar led the batting after they lost the first wicket and added just 27 runs together. Abid fell to Maharaj who followed Kagiso Rabada to provide the visitors a much-needed breakthrough. Rabad picked up Imran in just the fifth over.

Earlier, Hasan Ali bagged his second Test fifer as Pakistan bowled out South Africa for 201. Hasan was on the song earlier on the day as he completed his five-wicket haul.

Temba Bavuma (44*) and Wiaan Mulder (33) resisted a bit but couldn’t continue for long together. George Linde made 21 runs with the help of three boundaries and a six.

Shaheen Shah Afridi, Nauman Ali, and Faheem Ashraf were the other wicket-takers. They took a wicket each.
