South Africa management provides update on George Linde’s injury

Rawalpindi: South Africa have received a headache on Day one of the second Test at Pindi Cricket Stadium after all-rounder George Linde injured a finger of his left hand.

Left-arm orthodox spinner Linde got a blow on the pinkie bone while stopping a powerful shot hit by Babar Azam in his follow-through. He ran straight to the pavilion and Dean Elgar finished the 23rd over.

“He has been stitched up and is going to go for x-rays to check on the pinkie bone soon,” South African team management.

Note, the second Test is underway at Rawalpindi between Pakistan and South Africa. The home side is 85/3 in 38 overs.
