Sultans restrict Qalandars to 157-6 despite Hafeez’s half-century

KARACHI: Mohammad Hafeez powered Lahore Qalandars initially but Multan Sultans’ bowlers contained well and restricted them to 157-6 in 20 overs. 

Hafeez scored his eighth PSL fifty as Qalandars accelerated their score in 10 overs. He made 60 runs off 35 balls with the help of three boundaries and five sixes.

Joe Denly (31) supported Hafeez well as they scored 89 runs together. Samit Patel powered 26 runs off 20 with the help of two boundaries and a six.

For Sultans, Shahnawaz Dhani and Carlos Brathwaite bagged two wickets each while Usman Qadir took a wicket.
