PSL 6: Players, officials start receiving COVID-19 vaccine doses

Karachi: The players, officials and organizers involved in Pakistan Super League (PSL) season six have started to receive vaccine against COVID-19.

The vaccine doses were announced to be administered from today as a vaccination center has been set up at a local hotel in Karachi.

According to health officials, more than 300 PSL players, officials and organizers will be vaccinated. Individuals associated with PSL are being given the Chinese vaccine ‘Simopharm’.

Remember, PCB announced to offer COVID-19 vaccines to all participants of PSL 6, however, it is solely be the players’ and officials’ decision if they want to get the vaccine shots.

It must be noted here that the event has been postponed earlier today after three new coronavirus positive cases were confirmed earlier today.
