Morgan hails ‘incredible’ England after Pakistan series win

London: England’s quarantined captain Eoin Morgan hailed ‘incredible’ efforts of the second-string side after the hosts bagged 2-0 series over Pakistan in three-match series.
The 34-year-old took to Twitter and emphasized that without the main 15 players, injured Jos Buttler and Jofra Archer, Ben Stokes’ side has achieved is incredible.
“15 of the current squad in isolation. Buttler and Archer injured. What Ben Stokes and the team have achieved is incredible. Looking forward to watching the next game!” Morgan tweeted.

Note, Morgan and his entire original squad were replaced at short notice after three players and four members of staff tested positive for Covid-19 ahead of the series.
Pakistan once again had a disappointing outing in the series. England scored 247 after Pakistan put them into bat first in a match reduced to 47 overs a side due to rain. Pakistan were bundled out for 195 in 41 overs.

Looking forward to watching the next game!
