Ehsan Mani has told Prime Minister and PCB Patron-in-chief Imran Khan to appoint someone else as he can’t work anymore.
Meanwhile, former captain, Ramiz Raja is likely to get an important post in the cricket board after rumors were circulating of him getting chairmanship of the PCB.
PM Khan has named Ramiz and Asad Ali Khan the two new members of the PCB’s Board of Governors (BoG). From the seven members of BoG, two members will contest for PCB chairmanship.
Justice rtd. Azmat Sheikh has already been appointed as the Cheif Election Commissioner for these elections. The election dates are yet to be revealed.
It must be noted that PM Khan was satisfied with Mani’s performance and insisted him to continue as chairman. They both met for two consecutive days Monday and Tuesday.
