‘Want to become bold captain like Imran Khan’ Babar Azam
JAMAICA: National skipper Babar Azam wants to become an aggressive and clever captain like former captain Imran Khan.
While talking to the media on the last day here, Babar said he has learnt a lot being a captain and tries to improve day by day.
“Captain is the one who should lead the team from the front. Every player looks up to the captain, a strong captain can lead the team to victories. So, I try to get involved in everything better for my team,” he said.
“My idol is Imran Khan as captain. I have listened a lot about his aggression and bold decision-making ability. I always aim to become a captain like him,” he concluded.
It must be noted here that Pakistan levelled the Test series against West Indies 1-1 after beating the hosts in the second Test by 109 runs.
