Asian Youth Games postponed due to COVID-19

BEIJING: Asian Youth Games 2021 has been postponed due to rising COVID-19 across the world, the Chinese Olympics Committee announced on Thursday.

According to the details, the Asian Youth Games, which were scheduled from 20-28 November, will now take place from 20-28 December in 2022.

The decision was taken for the betterment of players, officials, and management.

It must be noted here that COVID-19 has affected sports since its inception in 2020 across the world.
