Fans hold Ramiz responsible for Misbah, Waqar exit
KARACHI: Misbah-ul-Haq and Waqar Younis gave sudden resignation just weeks before T20 World Cup and it turned all the criticism towards the upcoming Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s chairman, Ramiz Raja.
Pakistani cricket fans think that Ramiz’s influence, before even taking charge as PCB chairman, was the reason behind the sudden resignation of two key posts in team management.
Ramiz was judged critically on social media after Misbah and Waqar left the coaching roles before the all-important T20 World Cup.
So Ramiz Raja is yet to take charge of PCB officially but I've already started to hate him. He's proved before the time that how big a clown he will be. Forcing the management to resign just before a mega event. Shocking. #T20WorldCup

I refuse to believe that Misbah & Waqar just resigned suddenly, there was a big story when Younis left, there surely will be this time also. You can't just resign out of no where and that too on the verge of World Cup ahead. Ramiz Raja surely is pulling the strings at backend.

It must be noted here that Ramiz will be elected as PCB chairman in the BoG meeting on September 13. Reportedly, he had started meetings with officials and players in the chairman’s capacity.
PCB’s Patron-in-Chief, Prime Minister Imran Khan had nominated Ramiz and Asad Ali Khan for the next chairmanship of cricket in the country.
