Food poison forces Hafeez to leave National T20 Cup

Islamabad: Veteran Pakistan cricket Mohammad Hafeez has traveled back to Lahore after his health could not get stable due to food poison.

The 40-year-old Hafeez, who is supposed to join Central Punjab (CP) for the ongoing National T20 Cup in Rawalpindi, suffered from food poison after eating a local hotel’s food.

The star batsman remained ill in the hotel for three days. He returned to Lahore after consulting doctors. He will undergo blood test again today.

Remember, the experienced all-rounder is a part of Pakistan’s T20 World Cup squad.
