‘No parallel organization for hockey will be encouraged’ PHF’s secretary

LAHORE: Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF)’s secretary Asif Bajwa said no ‘Hockey Day’ on September 9 has been declared by them or the government. 

In a statement released by the PHF, Bajwa said there is no parallel organization that exists in the PHF.

“Neither PHF nor the government has declared Hockey Day on September 9. There wasn’t any such development from our side,” he said.

“We will not entertain any unconstitutional parallel bodies functioning in the PHF. If there is any, we will take action against them,” he added.
