WATCH: Umar Akmal asks his fans to pray for his strong comeback
KARACHI: Umar Akmal is confident to make his comeback in the national team after returning to competitive cricket following the completion of his 18-months ban due to violating the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s anti-corruption code.
With his return to competitive cricket, his fans and followers are keen to see him wearing Pakistan’s shirt once again.
A Twitter user shared a couplet, wishing the strong comeback of the middle-order batsman.
زمانے کی سازشوں سے فکرمند نھیں ھوں میں
میری ماں کی دعاءیں مجھے گرنے نھیں دیتیں

In reply, Umar asked for prayers by dropping the ‘Palms up together’ emoji.
