KP post massive 202/5 against Balochistan

Rawalpindi: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s batters scored in an attacking mode, leading team total to 202/5 after being put in to bat first by Balochistan in the 15th match of the National T20 Cup.

Skipper Mohammad Rizwan and Israrullah provided a 43-run stand at the top. Israr made 19 off 12 balls while Rizwan scored 40 off 34.

Asif Afridi’s (16) time at the crease was eventful as he smashed two sixes and a four in his four-ball innings.

KP innings got momentum with Sahibzad Farhan and Iftikhar Ahmed’s partnership as they scored 59 off 29 balls.

Iftikhar scored 36 off 18 while Farhan made 43 off 31. At the backend, Adil Amin (26 off 13) and Musadiq Ahmed (17 off 9) took KP’s total to 200-run mark.

Kashif Bhatti took two wickets while Amad Butt, Umaid Asif and Junaid Khan bagged one each.
