What Pakistan gains from Saudi crown prince visit




Pakistan and Saudi Arabia having very close bilateral relationship from last 70 years ,it is eminent that Saudi Arabia helped Pakistan in every thick and thin matters..Pakistan not only respect  Saudi Arabia due to religious matter of khana Kaba ,but also for their economical,resourcefull  and political might .The latest visit of crown prince of Saudi Arabia is the most prominent visit for any Saudi delegation until know ,one of the reason for that Pakistan facing economic crisis due to previous government policies and misgovernance .The new government under the banner of Imran Khan gain mostly by the visit of Saudi crown prince . Saudi Arabia gave Pakistan most attractive package in the history of Pakistan.

Prince Mohammed, also known as MBS, arrived in Pakistan's capital, Islamabad, on Sunday, a day after he was originally scheduled to land. He was greeted by Prime Minister Imran Khan and given a red-carpet welcome with a 21-gun salute
Khan himself drove the Saudi royal to the prime minister's residence, where he was met by an honour guard.

Major Investments:

The prince was accompanied by a high-powered delegation, including leading businessmen and cabinet ministers, who shortly after their arrival in Pakistan ,Prime Minister Imran Khan and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman went to have their one to one meeting in which eight agreements and MOU of $20 Billion were signed without delay ,That includes a $10bn refinery and petrochemicals complex in the coastal city of Gwadar, where China is building a port, as well as the possible acquisition of two major power plants by Saudi companies.
After the grand welcoming celebrations, Prime Minister Imran Khan had Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman individually meet his cabinet members.
After signing of the agreements Imran Khan guided the Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman into a hall where Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa along with delegates from both countries were present ,

Prime minister Speech:

 Prime Minister Imran Khan thanked Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman for his visit and for the respect that he bestowed on him when he went to Saudi Arabia.Imran Khan continued to thank his guest and said “for Pakistani’s it is a great day” Saudis have always been a friend to Pakistan whenever the country needed its support. This is a historic event for the Pakistan, and while thanking Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Imran said “Saudi Arabia has always been a friend in need”.At this point PM Imran Khan took the opportunity to mention Hajj (annual Islamic pilgrimage to Makkah) for his people. He requested the Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman to give Pakistan’s relaxation.PM also raise concern about the 2107 Pakistani prisoners who are in jail due to different reasons,Crown prince acknowledge that and said i will be ambassador for pakistanis in Saudi Arabia .He announced releasing all prisoners from Saudi jails.

Crown prince said :
It's going to grow every month, every year," he said of economic cooperation between the two countries. "We believe Pakistan is going to be a very important country in the coming future and we want to be sure we are a part of that.
We believe in Pakistan’s future,” he said while addressing a joint press conference with PM Khan. “We think China and India will be the two biggest economies in 2030 and Pakistan will benefit from its neighbours,We want to be a part of that journey, he remarked. “It’s just the beginning. We hope to do more.”
The crown prince also announced his vision to make Saudi Arabia a top destination for tourism. The kingdom aims to diversify its oil-reliant economy in a plan described as Vision 2030.

The statement of both, while reaffirming the historic relationship between the two brotherly countries, applauds the growing momentum in bilateral ties in all areas. The Saudi side praised Prime Minister Imran Khan's dialogue offer to India including the initiative on opening of Kartarpur corridor.
Both sides stressed that dialogue is the only way to ensure peace and stability in the region and to resolve the outstanding issues. Both sides strongly condemned the atrocities and human rights violations committed against Muslims around the world.
The Prime Minister briefed the Crown Prince on the grave human rights violations in IOK and the need for resolution of Jammu and Kashmir dispute in accordance with UN Security Council resolutions and wishes of the Kashmiri people.
The visit laid the foundation for a new chapter in Pakistan-Saudi relationship, marked by high level institutional framework to guide future direction of political, diplomatic, economic, investment, trade, people-to-people, defence, security and cultural aspects.
After this visit Pakistan emerge as one of the most  active diplomatic country in the region that establish new thought in the mind of other foreign countries .Pakistan makes  his stance strong against it neighbours.It is thw dwan of new era may Pakistan bless more.
