PTI prefers justice, wants rule of law: FM Qureshi
ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Wednesday said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) preferred justice and wanted rule of law, ARY News reported.
Addressing the ceremony of PTI’s 23rd Foundation Day in Islamabad, the PTI vice president said the PTI wanted equal justice. He said the previous governments ruined the country for 40 years which could not be rectified in eight months.
He said Prime Minister Imran Khan had started journey towards New Pakistan.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said the PTI faced numerous difficulties in its struggle for 22 years.
He said the opposition parties would gather in the FATA in June against the ruling party. He said the PTI workers should get ready for local government elections.

On April 17, the PTI had decided to organize the main ceremony of the party’s foundation day in Islamabad.
“Prime Minister Imran Khan would address the foundation day ‘Yaum-e-Tasees’ ceremony that is being held on May 1 (today) at Jinnah Convention Centre Islamabad,” said a statement issued by the PTI’s central media department on last Tuesday.
The decision to commemorate the party’s foundation day on May 1 was taken at a meeting chaired by PTI’s chief organiser Saifullah Khan Niazi.
The meeting was also attended by the party’s central additional secretary general Ejaz Ahmed Chaudhry, Senator Faisal Javed, Dr Abulhassan and others.
