Jahangir Khan comes in support of snooker champion Mohammad Asif
Karachi: Former squash champion Jahangir Khan has shown his support for Pakistan’s top quest and two-time world champion Mohammad Asif to reward his services for the nation.
Asif who showed his disappointment over not getting the praise from the Pakistani government and has also decided not to represent the country at the international level.
Squash legend took to twitter and emphasized the achievements of the snooker champion and urged Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Imran to reward him.
“Mohammad Asif, World Snooker Champion of two times is our star who has brought laurels to Pakistan,” he wrote. “I urge the Prime Minister to reward him justly for what he rightly deserves,” he added.

While talking in ARY News’ morning show ‘Bakhabar Savera’, “See, you get disappointed when you don’t get the deserved applause. The government has been failed to recognize my achievements at the international level,” Asif said.
He has decided to take retirement if the government does not fulfill his promises. “We have been told a lot of times that things will be changed but nothing happened. I will take retirement if still, nothing happens,” he added.
