Fitness test of cricketers postponed due to coronavirus outbreak

Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has postponed fitness tests of centrally contracted cricketers due to the current Coronavirus outbreak.

The tests were scheduled to take place in the second week of April. Now, the new dates for fitness assessment will be announced once the situation gets better.

Meanwhile, the fitness tests of cricketers who are a part of six provincial first and second XI teams have also been postponed for an indefinite period of time. All the cricketers have been asked to continue individual training at home.

It must be noted here that the country is going through a tough phase due to the current world pandemic. All cricket activities are suspended for an indefinite period of time. All the cricketers have been advised to stay at home and adopt all safety measures to combat COVID-19.
