Sadpara, team missing, rescue helicopters in search
Karachi: Pakistani mountaineer Mohammad Ali Sadpara and his team went missing during their winter ascent on K2, ARY News reported.
Rescue helicopters have started locating the missing members on the special directive of Gilgit/Baltistan’s government. Sadpara is reportedly accompanied by his foreign partners John Snorri and Juan Pablo.
This correspondent tried to contact Sadpara’s family to know when they last came in contact with him but they aren’t in a position to reply right now.
It must be noted here that Sadpara reportedly climbed K2 successfully without Oxygen. Earlier, he has hoisted Pakistan’s flag on the world’s eight peaks.
