‘Shaheen’s family approached us for my daughter, we are in touch’ Afridi confirms
Karachi: Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi has finally responded to a buzz that is on the radar of netizens since yesterday regarding the engagement of pacer Shaheen Shah and his daughter.
Boom Boom Afridi confirmed that the family of 20-year-old Shaheen has approached his family for his daughter and both the families are in touch.
“Shaheen’s family approached my family for my daughter. Both families are in touch, matches are made in heaven, if Allah wills this match will be made too,” Afridi tweeted.
“My prayers are with Shaheen for his continued success on and off the field,” he added.

Shaheen thanked Afridi for his prayers and prayed to Allah for making things easy for everyone.

Earlier, Shaheen’s father Ayaz Khan revealed to the media and confirmed that both families have longstanding relations and that Shahid Afridi’s family has agreed to the proposal.
