PSL 6: Rizwan ready to play in Abu Dhabi’s scorching heat
Karachi: Pakistan’s wicketkeeper-batsman and captain of Multan Sultans, Mohammad Rizwan is ready to play in the soaring heat of Abu Dhabi for the remaining matches of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season six.
The 28-year-old Rizwan, in an interview with Cricket Pakistan, revealed that he enjoys playing in heat.
“I am ready to play even in 50 degree celsius temperature as I enjoy playing cricket in heat. Pakistani players are also accustomed to playing hot weather, so they won’t face any trouble,” Rizwan said.
“However, foreign players might find it difficult to adjust initially,” he added.

Meanwhile, Rizwan believes that Sultans will bounce as they only managed to claim one win out of five in Karachi leg.
“Whenever such a gap comes, you talk to your players about what we could have done better. We made several mistakes collectively as a team. I have had a chat with my players regarding where we lacked and hopefully, we will try to improve in those areas and produce better results,” he maintained.
It must be noted that Rizwan is the leading run-scorer of PSL 6. In five matches, he has accumulated 297 runs at an average of 59.40 and a strike rate of 140.09.
